While I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have now lived more than half my life in NY state. I lived in NYC for 13 years and after visiting family members who have been longtime residents here, I decided to make the move to the Catskills. It’s been almost 10 years and I have ZERO regrets. Well, maybe I miss free delivery, but other than that, ZERO regrets. I have made it a point to enjoy everything this area has to offer and have really tried to integrate myself into the community. You may find me at the pancake breakfast for the local volunteer fire department, pouring at a local craft beer festival or volunteering for the Woodstock Thanksgiving Community party. I love meeting my neighbors at yard sales. I love to pick a random route and take a road trip. The local and live music here fills my artistic soul to no end. Every once in a while, you may even see me on stage somewhere in the area belting out a tune or two. I love the restaurants, the small shops where I try to keep all my shopping local, the gorgeous seasonal food I get to cook with. Every year I make pesto from the wild field garlic growing behind my house. Doesn’t get better than that!
All of these things have really helped shape me as a real estate professional. I have a deep love for this area. Every home in Ulster County has something special about it whether turn-key or a total gut. I love to help my buying and selling clients to discover what that is. My thing is kindness, communication, creative problem solving and a touch of humor when appropriate. I use these skills not only with my clients but also with other professionals involved in the process. It makes for a much more pleasant experience and ultimately, makes it easier to close the deal for you when you show respect for everyone’s time and effort. Let’s work together and I’ll make the process as easy as possible because, well, who has time for drama? Not me!
